Liberating Education from its Trap and Mould of academics.
Education was considered in the 80s 90s from the Latin word “educare” meaning to draw out from the person. Education down the years has evolved and has raised many questions as to the exact meaning of education.
If we have a look around our world globally and Indian educational society we see lot of hatred, Racism bias, Isolation cultural shocks, inability to integrate, and adjust to different cultures, communities and society inviting hatred and violence upon ourselves. Should we say this is result of academically unqualified or unintelligent? No the answer is a big No. We being definitely do not tale behind in academics or qualifications.
Today’s computing world, Digital world technology and AI can enhance our intelligence 100 times faster and efficiently a perfectly.
As we reflect the huge gaps in education and academics the most ignored aspect of academics, is the education, the education of tolerance, identity, culture and civic sense, good manners and community living, which is the urgent need of the hour.
We have many external sources and means to enhance academics and intelligence, but our educational institutions lack the education of civic sense, civic responsibility and sense of the other, which render our students incapable of integration in societies amidst other culture traditions as they migrate for better job opportunities and settlement aboard and other countries & cultures.
Due to Lack of civic sense and respect they invite hate, racism, violence, and isolation from neighbours and peoples from the world. The world is a global village hence we cannot afford to be academically qualified and miserable in our civic sense, sense of integration good manners and tolerance of other cultures religion and traditions.
Therefore our educational institutions need to groom our children into better citizens responsible people and academics will take care of itself. This is the urgent need of the hour, today education needs to be liberated from the mould and trap of academics and make our children better equipped for integration in society and community living.
